The LG G5 is expected to be one of the best smartphones in 2016, and if you keep reading you’ll see exactly why. The G4 is still one of the best concepts seen in any smartphone, but LG doesn’t look to be maintaining the status quo as the new LG G5 specs looks to be much better than the current model.
With consumers looking for something bigger, better, faster, and much more durable, it seems like the LG G5 specs will accommodate all. The new improvements that have already been leaked suggest a much better front and back camera, and a new processor that’s expected to become the benchmark of many premium 2016 smartphones.
The LG G5 camera specs will feature one of the better front and back cameras of all upcoming smartphones as rumors point to a 20 MP rear and 5.1 MP front-facing camera. We’ve also been hearing the OIS feature that we’ve seen in current models will be getting an upgrade as a Plus version has been rumored.
An Optical Image Stabilization Plus will help create a much clearer picture image while ridding the natural sway and movement typically seen. The new OIS Plus is expected to be seen in many 2016 flagship releases including the upcoming Galaxy S7, HTC One M10, Xiaomi Mi6.
We’re also hearing LG will be going with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The 820 processor will be significantly faster than the 810 processor, and the overheating issues that have been seen should be a thing of the past. The overheating of the Snapdragon 810 have been seen in many 2015 smartphones from Sony and others. The new 820 processor is expected to come available before this year’s end, and is rumored to be featured in other 2016 smartphones including the GS8, LG G Flex 3, and HTC One M10.
The new LG G5 processor may support speeds of over 3.0Ghz which will prove to be one of the fastest processors on the market. It will be interesting to see what this does for multi-tasking capabilities as consumers are dependent on living mobile, and handling many processes at the same time.
